Mark Zuckerberg says Meta was ‘pressured’ by Biden administration

Mark Zuckerberg, Meta's CEO, stated that in 2021, the Biden Administration pressured Meta to censor certain COVID-19 content.

This included content like humor and satire, and the White House was frustrated when Meta didn’t comply.

Zuckerberg felt this pressure was wrong and regrets not being more outspoken at the time.

He emphasized that Meta shouldn’t compromise its content standards due to political pressure and is prepared to resist such pressure in the future.
